Touring through Wales

A tiny Conwy toll keeper's house was also restored by the National Trust. It belonged to a husband and wife who kept it open no matter the weather. The tolls at the time included 1 dime for each person on foot, every score of sheep was 4 dimes, 1 shilling and 6 dimes for a vehicle not animal drawn (steam or machine driven).
